Effects on Wildlife:
Deforestation affects the wildlife majorly. A lot of animals are vegetarian, so cutting down their trees is taking away their food source, leading to undernourishment and, eventually, death. Another factor that would lead to death of animals is the fact that it will cause them to migrate into urban areas where they don’t know how to survive. Also, cutting down trees will eventually lead to extinction of certain species that can’t adapt to other settings. This limits the biodiversity in South Asia.
